School Counseling & Caregiver Support
I provide school-based support, caregiver workshops, and consultation focused on helping young people feel safer, more connected, and more fully supported within their daily environments. Drawing from clinical social work training, experience supporting LGBTQ+ and TGNC youth within school settings, and a background leading people-centered initiatives and trainings, I approach this work through both relational and systems-informed lenses.
Whether working with students, caregivers, educators, or school communities, my goal is to foster greater understanding, emotional safety, communication, and belonging while supporting the complex realities young people and families navigate today.

Areas of Exploration
Working in School Communities
Workshops and school-based support can provide space for reflection, conversation, skill-building, and deeper understanding around the emotional, relational, and social experiences shaping young people and families today. Areas of focus may include identity, communication, emotional wellbeing, belonging, and navigating complex developmental and systemic challenges.

Supporting students, caregivers, and school communities in building greater understanding, affirmation, emotional safety, and inclusive support for LGBTQ+ and TGNC youth.

Caregiver Communication & Support
Helping caregivers navigate difficult conversations, strengthen communication, build emotional attunement, and better support young people through periods of growth, transition, and uncertainty.

Teacher Trainings & School Consultation
Providing educators and school staff with practical, affirming, and developmentally informed guidance related to emotional wellbeing, identity, belonging, classroom culture, and supporting LGBTQ+ and TGNC students.

Trauma, Safety & Relational Healing
Recognizing how trauma, invalidation, rejection, bullying, discrimination, and systemic harm can impact emotional wellbeing, relationships, identity development, and learning environments.

Navigating Systems & Structural Oppression
Exploring how school systems, social expectations, marginalization, discrimination, and broader structural forces shape lived experience, belonging, emotional safety, and access to support.
MY APPROACH
The CARE Framework
Guiding Clinical Judgement in Gender-Affirming Care
CARE (Contextual Assessment for Relational Ethics) is a framework I developed through my research on gender-affirming care, professional boundaries, and clinical judgment. It is grounded in the belief that meaningful ethical decision-making requires careful consideration of developmental needs, structural realities, client self-determination, potential risks and consequences, and the cultural and community contexts in which people live their lives.
